We’re excited you want to join SMG! You’ll upload your CV, with the option to include a cover letter. To keep things fair and unbiased, applications enter our system as anonymous CVs, with personal details hidden. Your application is reviewed first by our Talent team, then by the hiring manager. You’ll always hear back from us, so keep an eye on your inbox (and check spam/junk folders, just in case).
A 30 minute call with someone from the Talent team where we get to know you and your motivations. This is also where we confirm values alignment - to do this, we'll ask three values based questions to uncover your experience.
This interview will last between 45 - 60 minutes hosted by the hiring team, including your potential future Manager, and they'll explore your experience in more detail with the core part of the interview focused on structured competency questions that we ask every candidate.
You'll be asked to complete a short exercise or case study to show how you think, problem-solve, and adapt to challenges.
For more senior roles, we may include an additional step to deepen the conversation and ensure we’ve fully understood your skills and leadership potential.
Your final stage will be a more informal session with future colleagues or leaders. It’s about exploring chemistry, culture fit, and giving you the chance to picture yourself at SMG.
